One thing a parent cannot resist doing for their little children is to provide them with everything they need. However, because of a parent’s constant worry over her child’s health and safety, the quality of the stuff they buy for their child are always placed into consideration.

Nowadays, different varieties of toys are out in the market, all in colorful and fancy packaging which is enough for little boys and girls to tell their parents, “Mom! Dad! Can you buy this for me please?” Who could ever resist those sweet smiles, puppy dog eyes, and angelic little faces? But as a parent, has anyone ever encountered thoughts that the toys being bought for their children could be filled with chemicals which are branded as hazardous to a person’s health?

A certain little girl named Kamille loves playing with toys such as toy dining sets and toy living room sets for her Barbie dolls. Her mother Nolaine was kind of worried about the toys containing plastics. While it may seem natural for toys to contain a certain type of plastic or two, and that the finished plastic product may be nontoxic, the other materials used in the manufacturing of the toy can be toxic. What is more disturbing is that small amounts of these materials might be left behind even before the toy gets into the packaging. Parents wouldn’t want their child’s health to be at risk.

One day, Kamille was watching television while Nolaine was busy making lunch in the kitchen. Her daughter called her in the living room and pointed at the screen, where a commercial of Kidkraft Deluxe Let’s Cook Large Kitchen was being aired. It was a kitchen play set which was almost Kamille’s size (she is four years old). Since she doesn’t have any idea on what to give Kamille for her birthday, Nolaine decided to look the product up on the Internet.
