Why does everyone shop at Amazon.com? September 26, 2010 at 1:39 pm
Amazon.com is incredibly successful now, every time I type a search into Google then you can almost guarantee an Amazon product is going to be shown if it can. It doesn’t matter if you are looking for blues guitar books or a pink guitar then you can almost guarantee they will have it in stock or list a merchant who does.
That must be why they are so successful, they have what you are searching for, shipping it usually quick and free, and the prices are some of the best around. Isn’t that everything we want when we look to buy something? You also know you can trust them with your details, there are lots of other small websites which might even have the product I am looking for cheaper, but they probably charge for shipping, and it isn’t worth saving a dollar or two if your don’t trust them with your credit card details.. With Amazon I have my details stored in their system and I can order things in just a few clicks. Although being able to order things so easily is good for them, but not me, as I do make a lot of impulse purchases which I quickly regret when the credit card bills comes through the door a month later Once you have placed an order with them then they send you a confirmation email which is a big relief as if a company doesn’t do that then sometimes you wonder if they received the order when it hasn’t arrived in a few days. Then they dispatch it to you really quickly, even using the free shipping option then I have had stuff dispatched the same day!
